Long overdue, but here are some pictures from my recent Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA) trip in August. We only made it as far as Lake Disappointment and managed to find a beautiful campsite facing South. The main hardship we encountered was weather, in the form of strong gusting wind that prevented us from going far on Snowbank Lake, hence our modest destination of Lake Disappointment. It turns out that our campsite was beautiful with a rocky point at the entrance that allowed us to observe sunrise and sunset. New York City Streets

I recently spent 5 beautiful Spring days in NYC, of which I took full advantage to explore all things artistic. I visited The International Center of Photography, Aperture Gallery, MOMA, Yossi Milo Gallery, and others. But the true highlight of my visit was walking the streets of New York for hours each day with my Leica strapped around my shoulder and my pockets stuffed with rolls of film. Earlier this May I attended the “In the Heart of the Bast Puppet and Mask Theatre’s” MayDay Parade festivities on Lake Nokomis.
