My photographs are inspired by natural and urban elements of my environment. I typically use a digital camera to make my color photographs and black and white film for my monochromatic images. My photographic philosophy is founded on purism, minimalism, perfectionism, and classical aesthetics. I currently reside in Indiana, United States.
I love to print my work and see it come to life. I take printing seriously and I always strive to achieve the perfect print, which in my view results from the marriage between the right image, paper, and printing technique. I use two professional printing agencies that are considered to be of the highest quality nationally, and I only use the highest quality archival fine-art printing paper. Generally I like to print non-landscape work on 8×10 inch paper, while I prefer printing landscapes on 11×14 inch paper. Before any print is offered for sale I perform test prints with various paper types and perform any necessary adjustments to the print to ensure it meets my expectations for detail, color depth, texture, and feel. All prints are physically inspected by me before shipping and signed on the back. Some prints are signed also on the front. To purchase a print, please visit my Print Shop.
